Although this is our first V-hull carrying the Skater name, our prior V-hull experience is rather substantial. We built many of the original Fountain 35, 42 and 47 race boats for Fountain and helped to set them up in their winning ways. We also built the first stepped 46 Cigarette and constructed the 46 “Kilo” boat for Cigarette. Needless to say, our 399 incorporates the best V-hull attributes and is “State of the Art” when it comes to bottom design. So successful was this hull in racing that the current 39 “Outerlimits” race boat is almost an exact duplicate of our 399 bottom and does not even remotely resemble any of their other hull designs. What does that tell you?

Powerboat Magazine’s test drivers rate the 399 the quickest acceleration and fastest top end of any V, they have tested and gave the hull a superlative performance evaluation. If you insist on a V-hull, the Skater 399 is way out front.

• Single 250 gallon fuel tank with ethanol resistant liner
