Designed in 2011, The Skater 482 SS is the newest, most innovative and most stylish model in the Super Sport series. The unique shape of the deck, extra deep tunnel and high deadrise sponson entry and revolutionary intake vent system, delivers an ultra smooth ride. Even at high speeds, The exclusive lines of 482SS renders a leveled flight and lands softly in waves which feel like riding on a cushion of air in light chop.
Six custom-made bucket seats feature built-in LCD video screens and provide complete bolster support. For convenience, all the refashioned controls are within easy reach at the helm. What we’ve learned building raceboats is put to use on this boat, including a proprietary blend of S-glass, Kevlar, carbon and aircraft-grade balsa core with epoxy resins. Of course, it is all vacuum-bagged for optimum weight savings and strength and the hull and deck are bonded around the entire perimeter
